We had a blast making terrariums. The shop is really cool, with a ton of terrariums, and some have poison dart frogs. The instructor started out by feeding the frogs. Then we got into the class. He gave us a history of terrariums, then moved into the science of it all. After that, he had us pick out the container we would use to construct the terrarium. Then he started demonstrating how to build the levels of the terrarium and how it all works. At that point we were ready to get started. We got the layers in and started adding plants, mosses, and rocks. At the end he watered them and gave us tops on keeping them in tip top terrarium form. This was such a fun day.

What a gem of a place! The atmosphere is so cozy and warm! I cannot recommend the class enough it was a total blast for my friend and I! Daniel had everything prepared so all we had to do was walk in and have fun! He is super knowledgeable and entertaining and does a great job of creating a collaborative and cohesive environment even with strangers. I’m in love with my terrarium and I can’t wait to watch it grow and change! This is a great activity for friends, partners and as a treat yourself!

Had a wonderful time! Daniel was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He made sure we had lots of options and would help us adjust anything we needed. We had a wonderful time and learned A LOT. Its been a couple weeks and my terrarium is flourishing as well!

Off putting atmosphere. This was my second time visiting and I can’t believe how much hasn’t changed. The glass is over priced. The plants are over priced and the selection (considering they’re a terrarium store) is disappointing. Most of the plants offered can be found at much larger sizes for a few cents more, or at lower prices with bundle deals (ex: 2 for $5). The terrariums themselves are overpriced. Given their location, the price, and limited variety of plants, glass, and terrariums, this store has little to offer for both people who want to get into terrariums, or terrarium enthusiasts who would like to have a reliable space to shop in-person. They claim their prices are due to the fact that “these terrariums will last you years” so you should come “ready to invest in the terrarium you want”. They also claim that their plants “aren’t ordinary” they’re “clean and healthy”. 1.) terrariums can fail due to numerous reasons, it’s trial and error. They can never guarantee that your terrarium will live for years. 2.) making sure your plants are clean and healthy is the bare minimum as a seller. You can’t sell apples if they’re spoiled. 3.) most people could probably make the “te

Took a Terrarium workshop with my daughter today, and it was fantastic. I was surprised by the number of plant, stone, and glass options available. Once you pick out your container all the soil, stone, and plants are included (at least when you take the workshop). I also loved learning a little bit about the history of terrariums. During the workshop, we never felt rushed. Wren was friendly and did a great job of gently guiding the participants. I was amazed to learn about the lifetime warranty on all their terrariums.
